About Us

LeeAnn has had a passion for creative works and designs since the early 2000's and opened her first Etsy shop in 2009 making custom baby bedding and accessories. She's ventured into quilting for hire, mask making during the start of Covid, creating custom tumblers, various vinyl designs, and so much more! LeeAnn is enjoying the idea to be able to work alongside her husband of almost 20 years, Anthony. 

Anthony also has an eye for design and clothing style, so the two of them are looking forward to this start this creative journey together! They both have always had a desire for owning their own business. Many entrepreneur ideas up their sleeves, but this is the first to launch together!

LeeAnn and Anthony reside in Southern Mid-Michigan and have a HUGE love for travel. Whether it is exploring the great state of Michigan or heading cross country to Hawaii, California, Texas, Florida or to the Carolinas, they are sure to take every opportunity to get outdoors! They enjoy traveling just the two of them, with other couples, and especially the family trips with their three sons. 

517 Threads came about for the love of their own state of Michigan. 517 is the area code they reside in. LeeAnn’s love for fabric in all forms helps add 'Threads' to their name. 517 Threads will specialize in several collections that LeeAnn and Anthony enjoy: Michigan themed, sports, camping, pool + lake life, and more!
